How we work

Tell us what you are working on — the pieces, the finishes, the quantities, and the space if there is one. Drawings and dimensions are welcome but not necessary at this stage.

We reply within 1-2 business days.

We send a written quotation covering the products, finishes, quantities, price, lead time and delivery terms.

A quotation is valid for 30 days. It is not a contract, and nothing is committed until you accept it.

If you are choosing finishes remotely, material samples can be ordered at this stage for USD 100, refunded against your order once it is placed. Screens are unreliable for leather and wood.

An order is confirmed when we have your written acceptance and a 50% deposit. The balance is due on completion, before shipment.

Once production has begun, an order can only be changed by written agreement.

Typically 10-12 weeks. Lead times vary with the size of the order, the finishes specified and current production, and are agreed individually for each order.

Steel is machined and turned at our factory. Leather is cut and sewn there. Wood is shaped and finished there. The people who draw a piece work in the same building as the people who build it.

Finished pieces are crated in purpose-built wooden crates, marked and numbered against your order. Crate dimensions are on your shipping documents.

Please check site accessibility in advance — driveway access for unloading, doorway and stairway dimensions, lift size, and anything else the crates will need to pass through.

We ship worldwide by air, sea or road.

Our standard term is Delivered At Place (DAP): we deliver to the address, and you handle unloading and customs clearance. DDP and EXW are also regular arrangements — tell us which suits your project and we will quote accordingly.

White glove delivery — indoor placement, unpacking, assembly and removal of packaging — can be arranged in advance for an additional fee. It has to be booked with the carrier, so ask at quotation stage.

Check the shipment within 14 days and tell us if anything is missing, incorrect or damaged.

Everything is covered by a two-year warranty. Beyond that, we can usually repair, refinish or re-leather our own pieces at any age — we made them, so we can maintain them.
