Returns & repairs
Almost everything we make is built to order rather than held in stock. Production begins once your order is confirmed.
Made to order
Because production begins once your order is confirmed, made-to-order pieces cannot be returned or exchanged because of a change of mind. Once production has begun, an order can only be cancelled or amended by written agreement with us.
If you are choosing a finish remotely, material samples can be ordered for USD 100, refunded against your order once it is placed. Screens are unreliable for leather and wood, and it is worth seeing the material first.
The statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases does not apply to goods made to your specification or clearly personalised. It does apply to unpersonalised stock items.
Stock items
Accessories and other items we hold in stock can be returned within 14 days of delivery, provided they are unused and in their original packaging.
Email info@fysik.com before sending anything back. Return shipping is at your cost, and we will refund the price of the item once it arrives and has been checked.
If something is wrong
Check your delivery promptly and tell us in writing within 14 days. Keep the packaging and send photographs. This is not a returns process — it is our mistake or the carrier's, and we treat it that way.
Covered by our two-year warranty. See the warranty page for what is covered and how to claim.
Repairs
We make our pieces ourselves, in our own factory, from three materials we have used since the first prototypes. That means we can usually repair them — including long after the warranty has ended, and including damage that was never our fault.
Depending on the piece, we can re-leather, re-finish or re-machine components, replace fixings and bearings, and restore pieces that have had heavy use.
There is no fixed price list. Send us photographs and a description at info@fysik.com and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth doing, what it would involve, and what it would cost.
Full terms are set out in our terms & conditions. Last updated August 2026.
